About Jamie Dickinson

Jamie was born in Middlesbrough, UK to a musical family where he was heavily influenced by different genres of music ranging from Jazz and Opera to pop and RnB.

By the age of just five, Jamie was already singing to the public and in love with music. By the time he was 10, Jamie had sung with pro-opera company Ellen Kent and had participated in West End tours.

At the age of 11, Jamie was offered the Stage Newspaper Scholarship to attend Susi Earnshaw Theatre School in London. It was here he started to realise his passion for songwriting.

This year, Jamie is due to graduate at the prestigious Berklee College Of Music with a Summa Cum Laude having achieved an impressive grade point average of 3.96 out of a maximum score of 4.0.

In March, following his appearance on ITV’s “Starstruck” (where he transformed into iconic Canadian superstar Justin Bieber) Jamie released his debut EP “I: The Beginning” which consists of electronically influenced pop music.

Jamie is a natural storyteller, who by using his melodic tools and personal encounters writes music that people can relate and dance to at the same time.
