About Jamie Dickinson

Jamie was born in Middlesbrough, UK to a musical family where he was heavily influenced by different genres of music ranging from Jazz and Opera to pop and RnB.

By the age of just five, Jamie was already singing to the public and in love with music. By the time he was 10, Jamie had sung with pro-opera company Ellen Kent and had participated in West End tours.

At the age of 11, Jamie was offered the Stage Newspaper Scholarship to attend Susi Earnshaw Theatre School in London. It was here he started to realise his passion for songwriting.

In March 2023, following his appearance on ITV’s “Starstruck” (where he transformed into iconic Canadian superstar Justin Bieber) Jamie released his debut EP “I: The Beginning” which consists of electronically influenced pop music.

As of 2024, Jamie has graduated from the prestigious Berklee College Of Music with a Summa Cum Laude having achieved an impressive grade point average of 3.96 out of a maximum score of 4.0. He is now studying his MA in songwriting with them.

Jamie has since released his second EP in February, 2024 called "Chrysalis" which features his hit single "Thief In The Night".

This year, after perfoming his pope cover show for five years across the country Jamie has been performing with the tribute band "3 (Thr33)" touring the country's holiday parks, hotels and various other venues.

On November 29th, Jamie released "Overdrive" and has many more songs in the pipeline including his first release of 2025 "You Give Me Hope". Jamie has been apart of the Ultimate Artist Release Program coordinated by UK songwriter and producer, Martin Sutton (Celine Dion, Backstreet Boys etc) who co-produced this track. This song was co-written by Canadian songwriter Elizabeth Rodrigues (Gwen Stefani, Eminem etc)

Currently, after assisting in writing a couple of songs for various projects (including CBS),  Jamie is in the middle of releasing his third EP, "Emergence", with which he has worked with Sonic Futures and Henry Carden from Quiet Crown Music to bring this to life.

Jamie is a natural storyteller who, by using his melodic tools and personal encounters, writes music that people can relate to and dance to at the same time.
